McLean County Farm Bureau members Rachel Hawk and Jacqueline Witte recently completed the 2020 Illinois Farm Bureau Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) program. The nine-week training allows participants to study and develop leadership skills in the areas of communication, political process, agricultural economics, and global issues. Golf Outing Raises Funds Despite Rain

August 3, 2020

More than 40 golfers hit the links to benefit local agricultural education efforts at the 2020 McLean County Farm Bureau Foundation Golf Outing held July 27 in Bloomington. Despite some rain, eleven teams played nine holes at the tenth annual event and competed for prizes on the course. Participants also enjoyed a ribeye dinner to conclude the day. Ag Books Crop Up at Little Free Libraries

Books about food, farming and other ag-related topics are cropping up at Little Free Library locations in Bloomington, Normal and surrounding communities. Donated by McLean County Farm Bureau, the books include both nonfiction and fiction books about soil, gardening, tractors, wheat, a biography of George Washington Carver and more. MCFB Donates Milk to Midwest Food Bank

McLean County Farm Bureau recently partnered with Prairie Farms Dairy to donate $500 of milk to Midwest Food Bank.
