McLean County Farm Bureau members Rachel Hawk and Jacqueline Witte recently completed the 2020 Illinois Farm Bureau Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) program.
The nine-week training allows participants to study and develop leadership skills in the areas of communication, political process, agricultural economics, and global issues.
Hawk and Witte had the opportunity to engage with Illinois Farm Bureau leaders and staff on a wide range of issues. Participants explored ways to get involved in the political process with a trip to Springfield in February.
Established in 1979, ALOT is an annual program offered by Illinois Farm Bureau. More than 1,000 members have graduated from the program to date. To learn more about ALOT click here.
