2025 FFA Matching Grants Awarded

McLean County Farm Bureau awarded $7,950 in FFA Matching Grants for 2025 to 8 FFA Chapters. The FFA Matching Grant awards each chapter up to $1,000 for ag education purposes. Grants are matched with student volunteer hours at $10 per hour.

  • LeRoy FFA – $960 award to help cover IL FFA State Convention costs
  • Lexington FFA – $930 award for National FFA Convention expenses
  • Normal Community FFA – $1,000 award to support their 2 ½ day FFA leadership retreat
  • Normal West FFA – $920 award for student conference fees
  • Olympia FFA – $750 award to assist with their new Livestock Facility Project
  • Prairie Central FFA – $750 award to create an outdoor classroom area
  • Ridgeview FFA – $640 award for upgrading tools in the ag shop
  • Tri-Valley FFA – $1,000 award to fund conference attendance

The FFA Matching Grant is available to all high school agriculture programs that serve McLean County students. Chapters have the opportunity to apply each school year.
