LMC Ag Day Highlights COVID Impacts

MCFB Boosts Illinois State Endowed Scholarships for Ag

August 10, 2021

McLean County students entering Illinois State University to pursue a degree in agriculture will have the opportunity to apply for a larger scholarship annually, thanks to a donation from McLean County Farm Bureau. A recent $25,500 contribution will increase the endowed scholarship fund at ISU, first established by McLean County Farm Bureau in 1984. 2021 Golden Clover Honorees

August 6, 2021

Five dedicated supporters and volunteers of the McLean County Fair and 4-H programs were honored as 2021 Golden Clover recipients. Sharon Hoobler received a Golden Clover for her service as organizational leader of the Stylistics 4-H club and as a Home & Family Director on the McLean County Fair Board from 1991-97. She also coordinated sewing and modeling workshops at the county, regional and state levels and has been a clothing and textiles judge since 1997.
