Join University of Illinois Extension Wed., Aug. 5, at the Illinois Energy Farm in Urbana for the 2026 Agrivoltaics Field Day, a free, public event exploring how solar energy, crops and land stewardship can work together.

The morning will feature breakfast, welcome remarks, expert-led research tours and real-world examples of agrivoltaics, the integration of solar arrays with agricultural production. U. of I. researchers will highlight emerging innovations in agrivoltaics and strategies for improving land-use efficiency.
