In Illinois, livestock producers with more than 300 animal units must be trained and certified in manure handling procedures.

University of Illinois Extension will offer training workshops including two in Springfield – Feb. 7 at the Bank of Springfield Center or Feb. 24 at Illinois Department of Agriculture. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m. with training program starting promptly at 9:00 a.m.
