A bipartisan group of five federal lawmakers from Illinois sent a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Katherine Tai and USTR Chief Agricultural Negotiator Doug McKalip urging them to bring a formal challenge against Mexico for its ban on imports of genetically engineered corn grown in the U.S.
