CONGRESS STARTS COOKING ON FRESH FARM AID –

The Senate’s economic relief package is set to be unveiled by Republican leaders, two months after House Democrats passed their own stimulus plan. The Senate bill is similarly expected to include fresh spending power for the Agriculture Department to continue propping up producers stung by supply chains disruptions, as well as long-awaited aid for groups that were left out of the first round of stimulus payments.
