IFB COVID-19 RESOURCE HIGHLIGHT:

USDA has extended flexibilities and relief for farmers, ranchers, and insurance providers due to COVID-19. USDA is authorizing Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) to provide up to an additional 60 days for policyholders to make payment and waive additional interest for Written Payment Agreements due between August 1, 2020, and September 30, 2020. STATE FAIR FANS FIND FUN IN SPITE OF CANCELLATION –

The state fair’s 4-H general project show will take place virtually, with premiums and ribbons to be distributed by the Illinois Department of Agriculture. The Junior Livestock Expo, for Illinois youth ages 8-21, will take place in Springfield over two weekends, Sept. 11-13 and Sept. 18-20. (Lincoln Journal Star)
