State lawmakers explore CO2 capture, sequestration and utilization bills

Lawmakers on the Illinois House and Senate energy committees analyzed carbon dioxide capture regulations and sequestration and utilization (CCS) projects in Illinois. Discussion was prompted by four proposed bills related CCS that would impact projects like the Heartland Greenway Pipeline System currently pending before state regulators.
