Grants help get products to market

Hundreds of specialty growers, agritourism operators and ag service providers gathered last week in Pensacola, Florida for the National Agricultural Marketing Summit. FarmWeek’s Tammie Sloup has coverage from the event.

 

Rural Development staff laid out how Value-Added Producer Grants can help farmers and producers get their products in front of consumers. Applicants can receive up to $250,000 in a matching grant, with several options for how applicants can meet the match aside from cash.
