Anhydrous Ammonia Certified Grower Training Now Required

Farm operators and any farm employees who transport or apply anhydrous ammonia, or otherwise maintain anhydrous ammonia equipment will now be required to complete Certified Grower Training.

Farmers and their employees have until April 1, 2022 to be certified initially and must participate in refresher training every three years.

Certified grower training will be offered at no cost to the grower or grower farm operator via an in-person or online training program approved by the IDOA. Online is now available on the IDOA website at In-person training opportunities will be announced as they are developed.
