SUPER Trivia Night Raises Funds for Foundation

Eighteen teams battled for bragging rights and cash prizes in a friendly competition at McLean County Farm Bureau Foundation Trivia Night Feb 29.

The event raised more than $6,500 to support local agriculture education eﬀorts. McLean County Farm Bureau Foundation supports Ag in the Classroom, local FFA chapter grants, Ag Leadership Scholarships, and the educational exhibit at McLean County Fair.

Team “Super Friends” narrowly edged out team “We Teach Ag – What’s Your Superpower?” for first place in a sudden death tiebreaker round.

Team “Alcohooligans” won the Superhero team spirit theme competition for their costumes,
table decorations and props.

The event sponsors included Compeer Financial; Evergreen FS; Wilson Seed – Jeremy Wilson; Stone Seed – Andy Stone; BCS, LLC; O’Neall Brothers & Scholl;
and Terven Trucking.

More than thirty local businesses contributed in-kind donations as prizes and silent auction items.
