African Swine Fever Meeting

Join us for a look at how the African Swine Fever outbreak is shaping global markets Wed., July 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the McLean County Farm Bureau office.

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Anna Ruman, Emergency Coordinator, USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)
  • Tasha Bunting, Assistant Director of Commodities & Livestock Programs, Illinois Farm Bureau
  • Mike Doherty, Senior Economist & Policy Analyst, Illinois Farm Bureau

African Swine Fever is a highly contagious and deadly viral disease affecting both domestic and wild pigs of all ages. ASF is not a threat to human health and cannot be transmitted from pigs to humans.
