HOW CENTRAL ILLINOIS WOULD FARE AGAINST HURRICANE REMNANTS –

The remnants of Hurricane Ida have left a large portion of the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas severely flooded and dozens have died from this storm both directly and indirectly in Louisiana and the Northeast United States. Flooding continues to be the number one weather-related killer in the United States. The geography and urbanization of the region play a significant role in how it responds to flooding and how severe it is.
