CHINA’S IMPORT APPETITE RAISES PROSPECTS IN US FARM BELT –

The US is on course to ship a record $37.2bn worth of farm goods to China this year, led by sales of soyabeans, corn, tree nuts, beef, wheat and poultry, the US Department of Agriculture has forecast. The sum is 23 per cent of total US agricultural exports estimated at $164bn. (Financial Times)
