2020 Golden Clovers Honored

Four dedicated supporters of 4-H and the McLean County Fair received recognition as 2020
Golden and Emerald Clover Award winners.

MCFB President, Mark Hines presents Mary & Larry Mohr with their 2020 Golden Clover Award.

Larry and Mary Mohr were honored as Golden Clovers for serving as leaders of the Udder Club in Normal for many years. The club specialized in dairy projects but also offered other projects and community service activities.

The Mohrs have worked to provide opportunities for youth to show livestock, participate in judging contests and promote dairy products.

 

Mark Hines (right) presents the 2020 Emerald Clover to the family of Tom Young.

Tom Young was honored as an Emerald Clover for his long time support of 4-H and service as a volunteer in the Swine Barn at the County Fair. He also served as President of the McLean County Pork Producers and was involved in many 4-H related events.

Linda Smith received a Special Clover for her work as an Extension staff member from December 2002-May 2013. Linda served as the fiscal secretary and worked behind the scenes to support all 4-H activities including the county fair. She supported all of the McLean County 4-H club and county wide activities and later Livingston and Woodford counties as well.
