U.S. and Chinese negotiators wrapped up their latest round of trade talks Friday and are scheduled to resume discussions this week to try to finalize a trade agreement between the two countries. The two sides offered little information on a potential deal, except to say there’s still work to be done. “Significant work remains, and the principals, deputy ministers, and delegation members will be in continuous contact to resolve outstanding issues,” the USTR’s office said in a statement.
