GOP PUNTS NEW HEALTH CARE PLAN – President Donald Trump this week said that while he still plans to repeal and replace the ACA, a GOP plan will not be offered until after the 2020 election, hoping to avoid a political landmine before the election. “Vote will be taken right after the Election when Republicans hold the Senate & win back the House,” Trump tweeted Monday night. Meanwhile, recent Gallup polls showed 45 percent of American adults fear a major health event will leave them bankrupt, while 55 percent of Americans said they worry “a great deal” about availability and affordability of healthcare.
