U.S. President Donald Trump Friday said trade negotiations with China were progressing and a final agreement “will probably happen,” adding that he didn’t believe his call for sustained tariffs would complicate the trade talks. Trump also said he expected to keep a 25 percent tariff on European light trucks in reference to separate trade talks with the E.U. “The European Union…frankly, treats us as badly as China,” Trump said.
