PROGRESSIVE TAX SUPPORT SLIPS – The latest polling of 1,000 registered Illinois voters finds most still support changing Illinois’ constitution to allow for higher income tax rates on higher earners, though the numbers have slipped five percentage points from a year earlier. While the numbers could still carry a successful ballot initiative, they are drawing closer to the 60 percent approval requirement. (Illinois News Network)
