JUST ENOUGH TO BE DANGEROUS?

A recent Pew Research Center survey finds that many Americans can answer at least some questions about basic science concepts, but others are more challenging. While 79 percent of respondents could correctly identify that antibiotic resistance is a major concern about the overuse of antibiotics, only 56 percent knew that inserting a gene into a plant is an example of genetic engineering
