STUDY FINDS LOW LEVELS IN POPULAR BRANDS – A new report by the public-interest advocacy group U.S. PIRG reveals that tests of five wines and 15 beers, including organic ones, found traces of the controversial weed killer glyphosate. But, many question the accuracy of the PIRG study and some acknowledge the potential for the presence of herbicides in “trace amounts’ is beyond their control. (Chicago Sun Times)
