CROP REPORTS MAY STILL BE ISSUED –

CROP REPORTS MAY STILL BE ISSUED – The USDA Friday will decide whether to delay key crop reports scheduled for release Jan. 11, USDA chief economist Robert Johansson said Wednesday. The agency had previously said the reports could be suspended due to the federal government shutdown, worrying grain traders who rely on the data. The shutdown, now in its 13th day, already has prompted the USDA to suspend daily and weekly export sales reports. (Reuters)
