TRUMP SIGNALS TRADE PROGRESS – President Donald Trump Thursday said he had a “long and very good conversation” with Chinese President Xi Jinping and signalled progress on the trade dispute between the two countries. The talk could mean better relations between the two counties at the upcoming G-20 summit in January. U.S. businesses are hoping continued progress might lead Trump to suspend his plan to increase tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese imports to 25 percent on Jan. 1 from the current 10 percent.
