TRADE WAR PROMPTS ADMINISTRATION WAR – President Donald Trump’s trade war has stoked an internal war among his top economic advisers, with officials trading jabs both publicly and privately over the best way to deal with China, the EU and other trading partners. Most recently, Larry Kudlow, director of the National Economic Council, accused Peter Navarro, a top trade adviser, of speaking out of turn and doing the president “a great disservice” in his comments about trade talks with China.
