THE GREAT FOOD DEBATE – A recent report from the Pew Research Center found Americans’ views on food additives are closely divided, with majorities seeing at least some risk from eating foods grown using genetic modification, antibiotics or hormones, pesticides, artificial preservatives or artificial coloring. In fact, 32 percent of U.S. adults say hormone or antibiotic use in food animals pose a great risk to human health.
