FARMERS EYEING NEW MARKETS –

FARMERS EYEING NEW MARKETS – Continued trade tensions with China have U.S. soybean growers on the lookout for new, albeit small, markets. Still, small markets won’t make up for the 60 percent of U.S. soybeans China purchased. “If we can get buyers to step away from the politics and see us as people, we can get them to trust us – even if they can’t trust Washington,” said Doug Schroeder, director, ISA. “If we can do that, they will want to buy from us again when the trade war ends.” (Reuters)
