FARM POLICY UP FOR GRABS – Farmers and ag industry professionals are keeping an eye out for potential farm policy changes which could be on the docket following the Nov. 6 election. “You can make an argument that” a Democrat-controlled House or Senate would be “more willing to stand up to the president,” said Jonathan Coppess, director of the Gardner Agriculture Policy Program at the U of I. “A big question would be trade.
