AGRONOMY SUMMIT PLANNED – Possible solutions to 2018 growing season issues will be the focus of the first Northwest Illinois Agronomy Summit hosted by the University of Illinois Extension. The event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Jan. 15 in Highland Community College’s Student Conference Center, Freeport. Topics to be discussed include incidence of tar spot; white mold management; practical nitrogen management; insect management; grain storage; and more. (
