Ben Curtin, of Christian County, took advantage of his abilities as a business owner this week, winning the American Star in Agribusiness award at the National FFA Convention & Expo. Now a student at Purdue, Curtin started a metal-furniture-making business while at Taylorville High School. The award is one of four that honor the top individuals in Supervised Agriculture Experience projects in National FFA. (
