GRAIN, LIVESTOCK MARKETS A CONCERN – Dropping commodity prices and trade tensions continue to be a concern for Illinois farmers looking to the future. “Tariffs have been a very tumultuous issue for farmers,” said Knox County Farm Bureau President Grant Strom. “[Tariffs] have really caused the commodity price to crash here the last couple of months. A lot of farmers are growing impatient with the whole process and are definitely growing concerned in the farm community.” (Peoria Journal-Star)
