37% Americans think life is better than it was 50 years ago; 41% say life is worse, a new survey by the Pew Research Center shows. The survey of 43,000 people in 38 countries shows some of the most positive assessments can be found in Vietnam (88 percent say life is better today), India (69 percent) and South Korea (68 percent). Half or more in Italy (50 percent) and Greece (53 percent) to Nigeria (54 percent) and Kenya (53 percent) to Venezuela (72 percent) and Mexico (68 percent) say life is worse today than in 1967.
