The Illinois corn harvest is 95% complete statewide as of the middle of November, putting harvest completion a couple percentage points below the average. Mark Schleusener, Illinois state statistician for USDA-NASS, said the pace is lagging more in the northern part of the state, and that late planting is partly to blame for the late finish.
