The Illinois House was busy yesterday, working through a variety of override votes during the fall veto session. House members yesterday failed to override Gov. Bruce Rauner’s veto of a bill to a create taxpayer-funded workers’ comp company, but did overrule the governor on several issues, including the Debt Transparency Act, a bill which mandated Illinois’ public schools teach cursive, and legislation that would prohibit business from asking job applicants their salary in previous jobs.
