U.S., Canadian and Mexican officials Tuesday agreed to extend NAFTA negotiations into the first quarter of 2018. The most recent round of talks, which ended Tuesday, ended in hostility over aggressive U.S. demands on autos, a five-year sunset clause and Canada’s dairy regulations. Representatives of all three countries agreed they faced “significant conceptual gaps” in the upcoming talks. (Reuters)
