The opening round of NAFTA talks, which concluded Sunday, revealed tough sticking points dividing the U.S. from Mexico and Canada, including a proposal from the Trump administration which requires a “substantial” portion of autos and auto parts to be made in the U.S. The talks, likely to snag on several points, will continue through 2017 and into 2018.
