Ranchers in south #Texas scrambled this week to relocate cattle affected by Tropical Storm Harvey’s massive flooding, with many hauling livestock north while others rushed to move cattle to higher ground nearby. About 1.2 million cattle are in the 54-county disaster area drenched by the storm, which made landfall as a hurricane last weekend. Additionally, an estimated $150 million worth of cotton has been lost due to the storm’s high winds and rain. (Reuters)
