Billionaire entrepreneur and investor J.B. Pritzker yesterday announced his bid for the Democratic nomination for governor of Illinois. Pritzker said his candidacy is about progressive values rather than personal fortune, calling Gov. Bruce Rauner a “failure.” Pritzker joins a packed Democratic field of contenders vying for the nomination, including Chicago businessman Chris Kennedy, Alderman Ameya Pawar and state Sen.
