KFC last week said it will stop sourcing chicken raised with antibiotics commonly used to treat humans. The chain, the last of the three biggest chicken restaurants, said it would cut antibiotics by the end of next year. McDonald’s last year stopped serving chicken raised with antibiotics used in human medicine, and Chick-fil-A, the biggest U.S. chicken chain, vowed in 2014 to switch to poultry raised without any antibiotics at all by the end of 2019.
