Agriculture NewsThe total budget for the Illinois Department of Agriculture budget under the Governor’s preferred budget, including general revenue funds, other state funds, and federal funds, equates to $104,344,100. The total targeted head count for FY 2015 is 376, an increase of 14 employees. If the Governor’s not preferred funding levels are used, it appears that a signification portion of the reduction would come from the personal services and fringe benefits line item.
