EPA, CORPS PLAN TO REPEAL WOTUS RULE

The US EPA and Army Corps of Engineers Tuesday announced plans to rescind the controversial “waters of the U.S.” rule. The agencies proposed two separate rulemaking steps: Rescinding the WOTUS rule and re-evaluating and revising the definition of “waters of the U.S.” Agricultural groups, which have fought the rule for year, applauded the news. WOTUS UPDATE

WOTUS BLOCKED

A federal appeals court in Cincinnati issued a nationwide stay on EPA’s WOTUS rules Friday. “A stay temporarily silences the whirlwind of confusion that springs from uncertainty about the requirements of the new rule,” the court said in its ruling. More at FarmWeekNow.com.
