Apple CEO Tim Cook gave an update on the one-year old Apple product called CarPlay. CarPlay is software automakers install in the infotainment system. Internet connectivity is really catching on with the younger the car buyers, according to McKinsey. 65 percent of 18-34 year olds surveyed considered connectivity an important factor to consider when buying a vehicle. That compares with 43 percent for those ages 35-54 years old, and just 18 percent for those 55-74 years old.
