GOP DELAYS TAX BILL

House Republicans Tuesday announced they would delay the release of their tax reform bill because members were still divided over eliminating popular tax breaks to pay for the tax cuts in the bill. SENATE PASSES BUDGET PLAN

Senate Republicans Thursday passed a $4 trillion budget blueprint. The plan includes language which sets up special procedures that stop Senate Democrats from staging a filibuster on tax reform.
