IOWA TOUR

Crop scouts from the Pro Farmer tour estimated 2015 Corn Yields at 180.25 bpa, up from last year’s tour estimate of 178.75 bpa and the three year average at 162.65 bpa, after traveling around Iowa on Thursday. USDA is forecasting the state’s average corn yield at 183 bpa.

CROP TOUR

Pro Farmer’s crop tour this week pegged Illinois’ corn yield at 171.64 bushels an acre, down from last year’s 200 bushels an acre last year, as reported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
