CHEMCHINA FILES FOR U.S. ANTITRUST APPROVAL

ChemChina last week filed for antitrust approval with the FTC for its $43 billion deal to buy Syngenta. DuPONT UPDATE

Activist investor Nelson Peltz is calling for a split-up of DuPont.  Peltz sent the board a letter and white paper giving suggestions on how he thinks the chemicals-and-seed company “could significantly improve…financial performance” and double the stock price within 3 years.  DuPont/Pioneer seeds is owned by DuPont.
