ETHANOL PRICES

Ethanol declined to a six-week low after a government report showed production of the biofuel rose to a record. Futures fell after the Energy Information Administration said output rose 3 percent to 972,000 barrels a day last week, the most in four years of weekly data from the Energy Information Administration.

RFS UPDATE

A group of biofuel producers representing some 117 biodiesel companies and other farm groups have written a letter to President Obama highlighting that biodiesel output will meet or even go beyond RFS production mandates this year.  They say a cut to the RFS would lead to production losses and worker layoffs.
