Farm Bureau members of retirement age are invited to attend the annual Prime Timers Christmas luncheon Thurs., Dec. 7 at 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen FS, 402 N Hershey Rd in Bloomington.

Entertainment and a catered lunch will be provided.

McLean County Farm Bureau Young Leaders will volunteer at the WJBC Brotherhood Tree Wed., Dec. 13 starting at 5 p.m.
at the National Guard Armory in Bloomington.

Join us after work as we help sort and wrap gifts for local families in need.

The event is family friendly and offers a great opportunity for children to volunteer along with their parents.

The group will go out for pizza after the event.

University of Illinois Extension will present the 2017 Illinois Farm Economics Summit Tues., Dec. 19 at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino near Peoria, IL.

The program runs from 8:15 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. and includes lunch. Speakers include members of the farmdoc team in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics the University of Illinois.

The event will address management decisions for farmers in the face of low grain prices and current economic conditions.

Join area Young Leaders and Illinois State University Collegiate Farm Bureau members Wed., Jan. 17 for a night of fun, pizza and basketball.

Spouses and children are welcome to attend. Pizza will be served in the Ropp Ag Building starting at 5 p.m. and the ISU vs. Bradley basketball game is at 6 p.m. at Redbird Arena.

Notice is hereby given that the McLean County Farm Bureau will hold the organization’s 104th Annual Business Meeting Thurs., Jan. 18 at 5 p.m. at 2242 Westgate Drive in Bloomington.

The business meeting will include financial and program reports as well as any other business that may be properly presented.
All voting members are welcome to attend. Reservations are not required.
