SWINE FEVER SPREADS IN CHINA, PRICES RISE – Pork prices in China continue to rise as Beijing struggles to contain the spread of African swine fever. That, on top of the trade battle with the U.S., will make it harder to replace domestic supply with imports. Since the first outbreak at the beginning of August, 83 pigs have died from the disease.
