AMERICANS POSITIVE ABOUT FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS

According to a new Pew Research Center survey, 56 percent of U.S. adults say free trade agreements have been a “good thing” for the country, the highest share expressing positive views in the last three years. Just 30 percent say they have been a “bad thing.” Similarly, 45 percent of U.S. adults say tariffs on steel and aluminium would be a “bad thing” for the country.
